This has been an interesting week. My manager's boss flew down from Anchorage with a few other officials in response to the IG's draft report (which was released last week). They wanted to discuss some things with me, mainly why I felt a need last year to take my concerns "outside the agency to the IG." They were very disappointed that I didn't "feel safe" making my concerns known to my manager's boss.

Then they asked me if I wanted to stay in Juneau, or if I would like to go somewhere else.

Skor and I talked about it and decided it wouldn't be a bad idea to get out, since my coworker situation is so volatile.

I talked with them the next day, and after about thirty seconds one of them said, "So basically what you're saying is if this all blows over and there aren't any repercussions, you're fine staying in Juneau. But if your coworkers get mad at you again, you want the hell out of here."

"That's exactly what I'm saying."

"Okay then. You have my number, it's the Anchorage Hub. If anything comes up, call that number, ask for me. Thanks for talking with us. Have a nice day."

That is all for now.

I love you honey. Could you possibly write more about your work. I find it totally fascinating. Oh, and that Vaughn guy called early this morning, while I was in the shower no less. Geez. Actually, it would be nice if you wrote more about stuff outside of work. Hugs and Kisses
