Today was tiring.

I was in a hurry to put up the last two fence rails before church. I was planning on picking up more lumber on the way home and finishing the side of the fence before work. Instead, I ended up in the ER all afternoone after I put a nail into the side of my finger. Fortunately, it didn't hit any bone, tendons, nerves, or anything else important (it took them 3 hours to figure this out).

Since someone had already called in sick for work, I kind of had to show up, which meant no pain meds. Thankfully, they got it x-rayed and cleaned up by 2:30 which meant I wasn't late for work.

So my finger hurts, and I'm tired. I need to pick up antibiotics tomorrow morning.

Happily, Skor's home. I'm glad. I missed her.
