Next winter I'm getting a snowplow. This isn't funny anymore. The road grader came by this afternoon and left us a 2-3 foot high berm THIRTEEN FEET WIDE in front of our driveway, parking strip, yard, and mailbox. Seriously, that driver either was smoking crack on the job or just decided to put all the snow from our street directly in front of our house. It's a typical Juneau government crappy job.

I wouldn't be so irritated if they hadn't done a crappy job at the airport as well. For two days, 13 of our 14 taxiways have been closed because "the runway has priority." Never mind the fact that it didn't snow all day today, and the braking action on the runway was reported and confirmed as good MULTIPLE times - the city refused to spend the half-hour necessary to lay down sand and open the taxiways. Instead, we had to backtaxi everyone or issue "All intersections and taxiways except Charlie are closed, taxi will be at your own risk, use caution, braking action poor" any time we used a closed surface.

Yes, priorities. And speaking of priorities, my priority is to leave Juneau.

That is all for now.
