The second computer we'd been saving for World of Warcraft finally met its nemesis in patch 2.0.1. After repeated crashes, I gave up trying to run WinXP and tried to run WoW on Linux using Wine.
HAHAHAHAHAHA.
I actually got it working, but the framerate was about 15 SPF. No, that's not a typo - I really mean 15 Seconds Per Frame. After spending 5 minutes trying to get the arrow over the "ACCEPT" button for the Terms of Service, I pulled the plug.
So we're looking at getting a MacBook Pro sometime in the next month, since Skor and I can no longer play at the same time.
All the Christmas shopping is done. Phew.
